DIG THE GIG UC Heat 2 on Wednesday night in the Garden City over delivered - The vibe in the house was cool, the bands even cooler.

DTG House Band Only You nailed it! Incredible four piece band - EMO tunes at there finest.

Thanks for the music. As always thanks to Mike & Gretchen and their team of hospitality hero's at A Rolling Stone for hosting. Flo Herzog for the wonderful sound and thanks to all the cool fans that came out - positive energy and cool vibes go a long way. Host with the Most Liam was on fire!

Isolar have lifted their gamed big time - we knew they would. Vocalist Alex Aitken was in total control, her delivery impeccable and mesmerising in certain tracks. Their Bowie cover was a highlight!

Lakeward are new to the scene - Cam Gidden's new project was a little like bees to the hive - as soon this two piece of bass and drums kicked off things got pretty sticky. Great show!

In The City came armed with Caitlin Kelly their new singer and guitarist who has given the band some nice colour - a very tight act that enjoy the art of putting on a very slick live performance.

Red Weekend came and conquered. They have been playing a heap of gigs and it certainly showed - the guitars are getting louder! Congrats on winning heat 2.
