Two Hearts Are Better Than One

We had a feeling that DTG OU Heat 3 was going to be out the gate - the fans, the bands rocked and we all made a memory! The momentum has been building nicely in Dunners and it all came together nicely.

For the second time in the history of DIG THE GIG we had a tie - Congrats to The Beatniks and CRUZE CONTROL for taking the spoils - see you in the semi finals.

Erricks Venue showed the bands and fans what a special place Ed and his tribe have created - the vibe was cool, there was a heap of love and the music simple outstanding!

Huge thanks to the house band MOTA for warming up the PA - great to see a tight three piece rock band showing us how it's done!

Thanks to Ed for the massive sound and Destynee for quenching the fantastic crowd. Our host with the most Toki had another blinder - thanks for keeping the show on track my friend.

The Daze took a few riffs to get the party going but when it all come together it was glorious!

The Lines have a certain groove about them - they got stuck in and left nothing on the stage - well played.

The Friendly’s are a five piece band of goodness gracious! To belt out an ABBA cover was a first for DIG THE GIG! Loved the show, keep on trucking gentleman.

Hypocritical's claimed they have very little musical experience - Hanna Varrs was exceptional - she ran the band hard and fast - -infectious energy that gripped the crowd.

The Beatniks knocked it right out the friggin park! Super tight handsome rockers that could do some real damage in the Final if they get through. - well done for winning Heat 3.

CRUZE CONTROL are in control - say no more. Congrats on your win and making it through to the semi finals.
